Frequently asked questions
We offer a diverse range of classes tailored to suit all age groups and skill levels.
Our classes are designed to cater to everyone from young children to adults.
Specifically, we have programs for:
- Toddlers (ages 2-4) focussing on basic motor skills and introducing them to the fun of tumbling, parkour and trampoline.
- Children (ages 5-12) offering more structured classes that cover a variety of activities including tumbling, parkour, and trampolining.
- Teens (ages 13-18) with advanced sessions that help refine techniques and build strength and agility.
No matter your age or skill level, we have a class that can help you meet your fitness goals in a fun and supportive environment.
At Flips & Tumbles, we offer a diverse range of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
Here is a breakdown of our offerings:
- Soft Parkour (2 - 4 years): This class is designed for our youngest adventurers, providing a fun and safe environment to explore basic parkour, tumbling and trampolining movements and develop motor skills.
- Tiny Tumblers, Tiny Ninjas & Tiny Jumpers (4 - 6 years): These classes cater to young children, introducing them to foundational techniques in tumbling, parkour and trampoline activities in a playful and engaging way.

- Extension Tumbling, Advanced Parkour, Extension Trampoline (6 years+, skill dependent): For those who have mastered the basics and are ready for more challenging techniques, these advanced classes provide an opportunity to further refine skills and perform advanced manoeuvres.

Whether you are just starting out or looking to advance your skills, Flips & Tumbles has a class for you!
Each term runs in line with the school terms; however, we always finish one week earlier, making our programme typically 9 weeks long.
This gives us a “blank week” allowing us the flexibility to offer a range of extras and improvements, such as:
Make-Up Classes: If needed, this buffer week gives us room to schedule make-ups of any cancelled classes.
Bonus Events: We often run special activities for our current members, such as Bring-A-Friend Weeks, as a fun bonus at the end of term.
Upgrades & Maintenance: It provides us with dedicated time to upgrade equipment, refresh setups, and ensure the gym continues to offer the highest quality experience possible.
We have found this approach helps us not only support families with flexibility but also maintain the exciting, safe and engaging environment that makes our classes so special.
The Insurance (also called Flexi-Pass) is an optional add-on available at the time of registering for Term Classes.
It gives families extra flexibility by allowing unlimited make-up sessions if your child misses a class for any reason (illness, injury, or other commitments) at no additional cost to you.
Without the Insurance, make-up classes are only available in cases of prolonged illness or injury (3+ weeks, with a doctor’s certificate).

Comfortable, activewear (e.g., t-shirt and shorts/leggings).
Please avoid clothing with zips, buttons, or skirts/dresses.
Long hair should also be tied back for health and safety.
For Tumbling classes, socks or bare feet are best.
For Trampoline classes, it is best if socks are worn for safety reasons.
For Parkour classes, it is best if closed toe shoes with great grip are worn (e.g. trainers, converse, vans) for the best experience of their class.
Parent Attendance Policy
Parents are always welcome to stay and watch from our viewing area, but it is not required for most children.
Especially as we will have emergency numbers on file for each participating and registered child.
For safety reasons, we do require that at least one adult stays with any child under the age of 12 while they are in the gym. This ensures children are supervised at all times and can receive support if needed.
For older children, parents can choose to watch or leave them in class independently, depending on their comfort level and confidence. Our coaches are trained to provide a safe and engaging environment for all participants.
Soft Parkour: is a preschool class for younger children aged 2 - 4 years. This class focusses on the fundamental movements; balance, agility, coordination and more, while learning the basics in parkour, tumbling and trampoline.
Standard Parkour: For older kids aged 4.5 - 12.5 years, building upon the foundational skills while developing on the intermediate and advanced skills; for children ready for more challenges and skill development.
Standard Trampoline: Focused on trampolining skills, from basics through to advanced for older kids aged 4.5 - 12.5 years.
Recreational Tumbling: Gymnastics-style floor skills; rolls, handstands, walkovers, cartwheels and progressions into the more advanced skills such as handsprings, aerials and more.
For older kids aged 4.5 - 12.5 years.
Yes, we do offer family discounts, though we don’t provide direct monetary discounts on term fees.
We pride ourselves on offering the same high-quality service, care and coaching to all participants and believe the value is equal for every child as they all receive the same high-quality experience.
That said, we may be able to provide alternative options, such as vouchers or other special offers, to help families with multiple children.
If you would like to explore these options, please get in touch with us directly via email, and we will be happy to discuss what might work for your family.
Class changes may be possible depending on availability.
If you would like to move your child to a different class, this is done as a permanent, one-time change rather than a temporary swap.
Please note that a Change of Session fee applies to process the request. All class change requests must be submitted via email—this ensures we can manage bookings accurately and keep a clear record.
To make a change, simply email us with your child’s details and the class you would like to move to.
We will confirm availability and guide you through the next steps.
You will receive an email before the end of the current term with full re-enrolment details and payment instructions.
In this email, we will also specify a priority booking period during which current Term Members can secure their preferred class times before registrations are opened to the public.
This ensures that families already enrolled have first choice of their preferred class and time, giving you the best chance to continue in the same class your child has been enjoying.
After this priority period, any remaining spots are released for new enrolments.
