About The Event

Your child has been specially selected to join our Parkour Development Team.

They have caught our eye as one who is pushing themselves and is driven to progress within the sport

So we are looking to expand our Parkour program to include street-based Parkour training.

This 9-Week Programme is a great addition to help them continue and push their abilities and skills they have learnt in the gym and take it to the streets under coach supervision.

How It Works:

Meet 5 - 10 minutes before the session start time to check in with Ollie at the Bridge of Remembrance (near the Riverside Market end).

-Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch the training. If you would like to leave them to it, that is absolutely fine, at the details part of the registration please leave the best contact number (in case of emergency).

At 4pm, Ollie will start the group at one of the spots listed below and it will be a 2-hour training session.

We will spend time at three to four out of these ten spots in the CBD:

  1. Antigua Boatsheds
  2. Victoria Square
  3. Huadu Education Center
  4. Te Pae Convention Center
  5. Bridge of Remembrance
  6. Front steps of Christchurch Hospital
  7. BDO Courtyard; 287/293 Durham Street North
  8. 98 Cashel Street (Riverside end)
  9. Christchurch Central Art Gallery
  10. Arts Center (Old University Campus)

These spots are all within 15 minutes walk of each other.

The sessions would be focused on taking skills learnt inside the Flips & Tumbles gym (Precisions, Cat Hangs, Tacs, Vaults, Flips etc) and applying them outside in different environments with supervision and guidance from one of our top Parkour coaches.

The sessions won’t be formally structured but will have elements of teaching for things such as safety checking, hazard awareness, where you should and should not practice Parkour, what a good spot looks like, how to find challenges etc.

What happens if the Outdoor Trainings are cancelled?

If weather does not allow for a safe training area outside, there will be a session in the gym from 6:30pm - 8:30pm instead.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us via email:
