Competition Training Squad Info

Our Competitive Trampoline Squad is designed for athletes who are ready to move beyond recreational classes and commit to structured, goal-focussed trampoline training.

This squad focusses on developing high-level trampoline skills, competition routines, strength, conditioning and mental resilience in a supportive team environment.

Athletes train under experienced coaches who emphasise excellent technique, safe progression, discipline and confidence, while still keeping sessions engaging and fun.

This program is ideal for athletes who love trampoline and are eager to challenge themselves through performance and competition.

Who Is This For?

This programme is suitable for athletes who:

  • Have demonstrated strong trampoline fundamentals

  • Show good body awareness, coordination and coachability

  • Are motivated to train consistently and work toward competition goals

  • Enjoy being part of a team environment

  • Are ready for a higher level of commitment than recreational classes

 

Entry into the squad is by assessment or invitation, ensuring athletes are placed in a group that best supports their development and safety.

Training Focus

Squad training sessions are structured and progressive, with a strong emphasis on:

  • Trampoline skill development and routine building

  • Correct take-off, landing and body control

  • Strength, conditioning and flexibility specific to trampoline

  • Competition preparation and performance skills

  • Goal setting, focus and confidence under pressure

 

Athletes will work through clear progressions tailored to their level, ensuring long-term development rather than rushed skills.

Commitment & Expectations

As a competitive squad, this program requires a higher level of commitment than recreational classes.

Expectations include:

  • Regular attendance at weekly squad sessions

  • A positive attitude and willingness to be coached

  • Respect for coaches, teammates and equipment

  • Commitment to safe training practices

 

Training schedules, competition calendars and uniform requirements will be provided to families once athletes are accepted into the squad.

Competitions & Pathways

Athletes in the Competitive Trampoline Squad will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn and perform structured competition routines

  • Prepare for local and regional trampoline competitions

  • Develop skills aligned with competitive trampoline pathways

 

Competition participation will be discussed with families and is encouraged but managed carefully to suit each athlete’s readiness and goals.
